I feel I should preface this by explaining the "deal" about this squirrel, as he keeps appearing in my journal. (See Wishlist)

Hawk, the artist for Applegeeks is muslim. Currently muslims are observing Ramadan. During Ramadan, muslims fast between sunrise and sunset. It's common knowledge that this fasting can make a person a bit...twitchy. I have some muslim friends and they do tend to get, oh let's say "odd" toward the end of the holy month. Anyway, the squirrel is a reoccurring hallucination that Hawk (the character, not the artist) has during Ramadan, each year.

Or is he?

I highly reccommend Applegeeks if you're in the least bit into computers, MACs, anime or just funny comics. Without further adieu...ramadan has begun for Hawk.

25 days from now, give or take, I should return Stateside. I'll be back in the land of broadband and normal time-zones. I'm very much looking fwd to getting more involved around here, and sprucing up my House a bit. It's been quite neglected in my absense.

To all of my members, I would appologise if it wasn't part and parcel to my life to have to go away like this. I'll be back, and we'll ge things rolling again.
